Kevin:

Thin and pasty white Kevin has been mistaken for sickly more than once in his short life.  Amused by the comments,
he dresses in tight fitting clothing , slicks back his thick brown hair and wears heavy black framed glasses to
accentuate the heroine chic look of a starving - yet successful artist.

Plagued by a portrait of a man he’s never met Kevin is endlessly incorporating his muse into drawings, paintings
and etchings as he works his way through the high school experience only involving himself
in art and all things artful.  

An underlying need for acceptance led him to Joel and his friends, one day just taking it upon himself to approach
Joel in an English lit class. His own parents driving him nuts he asked to rent out a room above Joel’s mothers
garage to produce art and to crash on occasion. Joel accepted the request and found Kevin an excellent reprieve
from his own mothers nagging ways.

Kevin and Joel became good friends over the course of their final semester, sharing drinks and conversation in the addition which they named Skylab after a night of particularly heavy drinking.

His art leans perilously to the dark side, his style reminiscent to that of the great Mexican muralists, large, over powering, colorful yet disturbing. This quality is not over looked by his art teachers as they recognize Kevin as the
most creative student to come out of their small high school in more than a decade. Teen angst meets art would be
his most telling gallery show of the year, and the show to propel him into any art school his heart desired
