Leif:

In Rebirth we are first introduced to Leif as a new born. Later in the novel Leif is eight-years old. A mysterious presence visits Leif, a spirit or ghost. Initially Leif is frightened by the vision but later becomes comfortable with its presence, naming it "Blank Man" on account of the figures featureless face.

Leif is 4 foot 2 inches tall at age eight and is a bright and curious child. He has an enormous appetite for knowledge finding nature and spirituality where his interests most lye.
