Sergeant Jeffrey Jones:

Married to his wife, Adrienne, and with two small children to care for, the Sergeant takes his role as a peace keeper very seriously. Though his wife holds no rank, and Jeffrey is only a Sergeant, they are the power couple on the base. Jeffrey stands at 6' 2", broad shouldered, carrying a substantial frame. He is an intelligent man whose charm and looks have made him an easy choice among women. His dark hair and powerful jaw frame chiseled features set over olive colored flesh and a perpetual five o'clock shadow.

The Sergeant had hoped this new placement would serve to bring him and his wife closer, as he'd felt they had grown apart after his 2 consecutive tours of duty in the Middle East.

After the Apocalypse Sergeant Jones’ was tasked by the Captain of the remote northern base to oversee all survivors
entering the compound. Survivors seemed to flock to the outpost following the Grimm Reaper's evil deed, exhibiting some
prior knowledge of its existence.

Just 3 months later, a terrible plague hit the base wiping out nearly half of the accumulated survivors that sought refuge and
30 percent of the bases own compliment. To combat the decrease in population, the Sergeant assembled a search party that would go out daily on patrols to bring in survivors. In Rebirth Jones discovers Sara and her baby in this manner as they flee an assailant. The Sergeant becomes instantly drawn to Sara, and he felt, she to him.
