Sonny:

At 19, Sonny is the oldest of his friends, held back a grade in his freshman year of high school. With a hot temper and the muscle to back it up, standing at 6’ and an imposing 220 lbs of solid muscle, Sonny has heart. It’s his heart that in and of
itself endears him to his friends. It acts as his compass. He listens to it and respects it. If he sees someone being wronged
he confronts those in the wrong and takes it upon himself to sort it out, whether that be through intimidation practices – in
which he is naturally suited - or physical force, in which he is equally suited.

This characteristic is what brought Sonny and Tom together. Tom, a born victim in every sense of the word, was rescued by Sonny in his first semester of high school from relentless bullying. Though the accused bullies were known to be connected to a crime family, Sonny was fearless in his approach. He asked a question of them and upon hearing the answer broke the nose of one with his forehead and broke the arm of the other along with 3 ribs.

This ultimately is what kept Sonny back a grade, having been suspended for the better part of the year. Ever since that altercation Sonny and Tom had been the very best of friends.

An admitted pot head, Sonny isn’t exactly an over achiever in his studies, he learned to drive a rig with his dad in that year of his suspension and realized that money was readily available to be made whether one graduated high school or not. Regardless of this epiphany, he would finish out his high school career.
